WILD ANTICIPATION

For Lovehoney’s “Wild Anticipation” campaign, I designed a visual identity that connected the UK sexual wellness store’s lingerie collection with the regencycore trend, which was gaining traction after the release of Netflix’s Bridgerton series. 

I designed a visual language that juxtaposed Regency-inspired typography with contemporary sensibilities, so that the campaign leaned into historic themes while still remaining aspirational and modern.

The collection photography was framed using graphic devices inspired by regency artworks, frames and mounts, to put the assets in an imagined museum context. The mix of typefaces reflected this by clashing old with new, while the palette matched the colours used in the collection.
